Has EA Sports Resurrected the Madden Curse?
In 2009 EA Sports must have been tired of being blamed for the so called #Maddencurse. EA tried something they had not done yet and put 2 players on the cover. While this tactic did somewhat work, Larry Fitzgerald remained essentially unscathed, with just a slight reduction in production mainly due to Kurt Warner's retirement and his only bad thing being that he missed the Pro Bowl with a rib injury. Troy Polamalu was not as fortunate. Troy in week 1 sprained his MCL, he ended up missing the next four games. When he returned he played three more games, only to injure his posterior cruciate ligament in November. Pittsburgh ended up missing the playoffs and finished at 9-7.
EA Sports in an attempt to eliminate this curse, or at least not take blame for it anymore gave the power to the people. In 2010 they held the first Madden Cover Vote where Drew Brees graced the cover. It looked as though it may have begun to work, Brees did have an unusual bad year. But no major injuries nothing that put his career in danger, but they did lose to Seattle in the Wild Card round. Seattle that year was the first team in NFL history to make it to the playoffs with a losing record.
Ea must have saw satisfaction with these results, no blame and no detrimental injuries to the cover athlete. They have had a Madden Cover Vote fore every year since with Madden 12 being the last sign of the curse since when Peyton Hillis won the vote to be on the cover. You are probably asking who is Peyton Hillis, MADDEN CURSE. He had a terrific 2010 campaign with The Browns, 1177 yds rushing and 477 yds receiving. In 2011 he only played 10 games due to sickness and injuries, accumulating just 587 yds rushing. Browns did not resign him and he hit FA at the end of the season. He played for a few more teams never being relevant again and faded into nothingness.
Finally...Success.. In 2012 the curse was ended Calvin Johnson AKA Megatron won the vote and made the Madden Cover. He destroyed The Curse. He ended up Breaking the all time NFL receiving yards record that was previously held by NFL Hall Of Famer, Jerry Rice for 16 years. The broken curse trend continued for the next three years with exception of Madden 14 or 25 as it was called. That was the anniversary Madden with Barry Sanders who was already out of the game and in no danger of the curse. Madden 15 with Richard Sherman and Madden 16 with Odell Beckham Jr. the curse seemed that EA had beaten The Curse by putting the power in the hands of us the fans.
EA in an attempt to challenge The Football Gods, said "Fuck You, Football Gods! We select Rob Gronkowski to be on the cover. We killed your curse and have no fear of it." Are they wrong? Should they fear it? Prior to the Madden Cover Votes you have Madden 99 - Madden 10, that is 12 players that EA selected with 11 of them cursed. Why would you change it up at the point that you have essentially proved the curse dead. Why go back to what didn't work at first? Let's just hope I am wrong and this will not reawaken the curse and that it truly is gone for good, but if I am correct, at least its a dirty cheating patriot who is on the cover.

Justice Wins!!! US Appeals Court Rules Tom Brady A Cheater. Four Game Suspension Reinstated.
Today US Law has showed us justice still exists. In a ruling that was surprising to some, not me of course, US Appeals court rules that Commissioner Goodell was 100% within the parameters of the contracts signed by both Brady and NFL owners to punish Brady for cheating or for really any violation for that matter.
Brady now has essentially 3 options at this point,
- Appeal To The 2nd Circuit Appeals.
- Appeal To The Supreme Court.
- Admit He Cheated Publicly And Plead To Goodell For A Lesser Sentence.

Pats Fans Sue to Get Draft Pick Back, Cite ‘emotional distress’ Give Me a Break
via the Boston Herald
7 Patriots fans hailing from Florida, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, as well as a lawyer from Maine representing them, have decided to file suit against the NFL to try and get back the Patriots draft picks which they lost because of Deflategate.
I myself am an irrational Patriots fan but something like this is embarrassing to fans like me. No wonder why people loathe Patriots fans so much. Patriots fans need to come to the realization that they are never getting those draft picks back. Personal opinions aside on Deflategate, unfortunately many teams in the league have been unfairly punished without due process. I think most fans need to realize that this is entertainment and to believe that there would be due process from a company that provides this service is foolish.
Seth Carey, the attorney from Maine has alleged that team owner Robert Kraft violated the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act. After reading "A basic guide to the law" on mass.gov essentially it says that it really just all "depends" on if a court believes a business violated this law by using "unfair or deceptive business practises," So I ask myself: Are they suing Robert Kraft and the Patriots or are they suing the NFL? Do these fans realize that by suing they NFL they are also suing the team that they root for? I mean it's the reason Kraft didn't appeal, firstly because I'm sure he knew doing so would be waste of time, and secondly because Kraft said that he wouldn't do so for "the good of the 32."
Then we have this Pats fan Todd Orsatti, which has said his daughter is now "bitterly jaded because of the whole odreal." He states that "She will no longer go to games with me because she thinks the games are fixed by the NFL. She has talked about finding another team, which has left Orsatti 'devasted'"
Hey Todd, sit down, take a deep breath, and cool out my man. Your 7 year old daughter will be fine, after all she's from New England. Be a good father from the region and tell her she has no other choice.

These Comments Have To Be The Most Racist I Have Ever Seen!!!
So about a week and a half ago I decided to share a video I found on the internet of what is supposed to show a now homeless Chris Brymer (former Dallas Cowboys OL) defending himself against a group of guys that were trying to jump him. I did not post this for the racial commentary that came with it. I simply shared it because I am a cowboys fan its its sad to see what can happen after the spotlight fades. But the Comments I have seen on this video have been disgusting I am not surprised that Donald Trump is ahead in the polls with what I am seeing. But it is what it is this county is being filled with morons I am going to put this as simple as possible .... NONE OF YOU ARE FROM HERE stop saying black or ethnic people should go back to their countries if you are not going first ... Mexicans are more native than any of us and Native Americans are the only ones with the right to say that statement get over it we are all immigrants some by choice some forced. Grow up! You can see the video below and the comments on the video page itself.

Does This Video Show The Patriots Cheating Again???? (Clockgate)
In this video you will see that after Tom Brady seems to look up at someone and give the hand signal that referees give to reset the clock he immediately get 15 extra seconds. Now the camera doesn't show it but the claim is that the refs huddled after the incomplete pass to New England TE Gronk, Which if is the case the refs would of asked for the clock to be stopped and started on their signal. But with Brady seeming to give his own signal and getting what he wanted the Speculation remains with the 4 time Super Bowl cheating team ....sorry i meant winning. It honestly looks like a mess up by the time keepers, but with this teams history it makes you wonder ...... Here is the video.
